Some evenings don’t end with the final bow. On May 17, MODANSE at Dubai Opera and a dinner at Loona Dubai come together as a single сценарий—one where haute choreography and haute cuisine follow the same laws of precision and grace. Invitations to such nights sometimes arrive unexpectedly: from May 1 to 17, guests can order the signature Mont Blanc dessert, inside which a handful of tickets to MODANSE are hidden.

Prima ballerina of the Bolshoi Theatre, Svetlana Zakharova, will present two one-act ballets, each a self-contained artistic universe. The program opens with Like a Breath by Italian choreographer Mauro Bigonzetti, created especially for Zakharova. The second part turns to the судьба of Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel. The ballet GABRIELLE CHANEL is the result of a creative alliance between composer Ilya Demutsky, choreographer Yuri Possokhov, and director Alexei Frandetti. Commissioned by MuzArts, the creative studio of the House of CHANEL, under the direction of Virginie Viard, designed 85 exclusive costumes for the production.

Joining Zakharova on stage are Bolshoi Theatre soloists Mikhail Lobukhin, Artemy Belyakov, Ana Turazashvili, Ulyana Moksheva, as well as Ildar Gainutdinov, whose work has long extended beyond Russia.

At 10:00 PM, the evening shifts tone and moves to Loona Dubai. The restaurant by Ava Team—uniting brand chefs Vitaly Istomin and Artem Losev with restaurateur Anton Pinsky—has prepared an exclusive celebratory dinner priced at AED 450 per guest.

The menu begins with a choice of chicken liver and foie gras pâté with apricot sauce, eggplant parmigiano, cauliflower carpaccio with Parmesan and truffle, or salmon tartare with guacamole. For the main course: tagliolini with truffle, LOONA’s signature risotto, or chicken with broccoli and Gorgonzola sauce. To finish, desserts include the Loona Cookie, tiramisu with salted caramel, or lemon tart with meringue. The menu includes water and a complimentary glass of prosecco. Svetlana Zakharova and fellow ballet artists will also join the dinner.

To mark the collaboration, Loona Dubai introduces a signature Mont Blanc—its contemporary take on the French classic, where every layer is guided by a unified flavor logic. At its base lies a velvety chestnut cream with deep nutty notes. Above it, a delicate cheesecake rosette adds a light creaminess. Crisp meringue shards create both visual and textural contrast, while a final accent of raspberry gel brings a fresh acidity that balances the composition. Creamy, nutty, subtly tangy, with a perfectly calibrated sweetness.

And here’s the secret: ten of these desserts conceal a berry filling. The guest who finds it will win tickets to MODANSE. The draw runs from May 1 to 17. Sometimes, the most beautiful evenings begin with dessert.
